This started out as a stock Spaulding Supreme and got the chop. I took 1/8” out of the frame to make my 1.125” captive coils a perfect fit. I love how these run with a slightly shorter coil.
This shader is actually more of a color packer, long stroke and tuned to hit 105hz unloaded at 6v. It’s got that perfect squish into the spring when you really bury it, or a nice smooth controllable hit for working off the needles.
Deep cherry candy with a hint of gold flake and my captive coil washers make for a super easy to clean and maintain machine that will look beautiful for decades.
